On February 26th 2018 the Maple Trees Foundation was set up with the aim of improving the lives of people groups living outside of Western Europe. Our founders traveled to North East Asia since 2012. During this experience and more trips afterwards they saw a possibility to make a positive change. They also found out that most change starts with a simple encounter. This brough forward the idea to create more encounters by inviting more people to travel along.
During the many presentations they had given they also were asked a lot how people could support them. This both helped in setting up the structure for a new foundation and Maple Trees was born.
